How our Clothing Exchange Works.
|How we work.||
Come and bring in your preloved garments in exchange for cash or store credit at a preset price of 30% cash, or 50% store trade credit. Trade credit essentially means you use your clothes to buy new ones from us !
|How do you get paid?||You get paid as soon as the exchange is completed. We can bank transfer, or offer cash, and is redeemable the day of exchange only. Store credit can used in-store and online, which is automatically applied to your purchases. Easy.|
|When can you sell your stuff?||Available anytime during business hours, Wednesday to Saturday at our store on Young Street, Adelaide. We also offer a booking time service if you are looking for out of hours times to exchange with us. You can do this by contacting our store directly.|
|What do we look for?||
We specialise in vintage, designers goods and quality contemporary apparel. The Commons is proud to showcase items known for their timelessness. We will always seek out quality over quantity, of differing styles, sizes and genres. We buy items in excellent condition, rare pieces of differing styles, made from different eras and materials. We specialise in designer wares, such as Issey Miyake, Jil Sander, Yohji Yamamoto, Sacai, Junya Watanabe, Comme Des Garcons, Isabel Marant, Kenzo, Prada, Burberry, and many more.
|How long does it take?||Wait times can vary, depending on the items you bring in. Generally, allow for at least half an hour. For designer pieces, it can take up to 24 hours for assessment and authentication. Once exchanged, you are required to pick up your items within three (3) business days from the date of dropping off your items.|
|What won't you take?||We don't deal in any fast, cheap fashion. No Zara, H & M, Sportsgirl, Kmart etc. Also, we do not accept tems heavily stained or smelling, or with irrefutable damage.|
